Aleksandra Skiljevic is a Yugoslavian born, Toronto based photographer.

“Water and Air is a series inspired by my own collection of mementos and found objects. There is a quiet excitement with each discovery and being able to look back allows us to experience complete emotions about the past.

This collection of photos is made up of the minimalism and film grain that I fell in love with years ago. The photos also show the important relationship between space and light, with themes of nature and science binding the series.”
